For four consecutive years, Musictus has been organizing the
Asti Gospel music festival. The appreciation received from the
over 3000 people in the audience and by the media in the past
years, have contributed to transforming the event into a four
night festival over the Christmas period.
A festival which is going to attract fans from all over Italy
and abroad, giving preeminence to "black" music and outstanding
artists of international appeal.

Tom Lane
Singer, singer-song writer, musician and producer from
Nashville. Over the past eleven years he has been working,
recording and producing for more than fifty artists and groups
from all over the world, e.g. Michael English, Amy Grant,
Ron Kenoly and Phil Keaggy.
Tom will present a really original sound: a mix of acoustic
music, pop-rock, R&B and soul.
Free Voices
Choir consisting of about twenty young members of the local
Evangelical Church, directed by Lidia Genta. The Free Voices'
repertoire belongs to "Contemporary Christian Music" and moves
from traditional Gospel to ballads with some hints of "Praise
and Worship".
Ginger Brew
Her warm voice has made her very popular in various national
and international studios; since 1990 she has been working
with singer-song writer Paolo Conte, with whom she recorded
the CD "Parole d'amore scritte a macchina" and a tour. Led by
Marco Genta, on piano, she performs in a repertoire of Gospel
and Spirituals.

Guitar player and songwriter from Nashville.
Anno Domini Gospel Choir
Directed by Aurelio Pitino, who loves to define
himself "the soul singer", 15 young people from Torino will
perform a vast repertoire ranging from American gospel to
traditional spirituals, with occasional songs by Italian
singer-song writers and contemporary Gospel.

Edwin Hawkins and Singers, Band, Strings
Edwin Hawkins has been on stage all over the world for almost
50 years and is a living legend of music history! Edwin became
famous all over the world thanks to the evergreen 'Oh happy
Day', which, from 1969 to day has been the first and only
gospel song to reach the top of hit parades. It has sold
over 7 million copies and is the by far the most successful
gospel album of all times. For the grand European tour a
series of extraordinary musicians and singers have been
engaged:

The Gospel Girls
The group started in San Francisco five years ago, and
includes four lady-singers: Cassandra Mathews - voice,
Cynthia Stokes - voice, Sharon Jones - voice, Barbara
Williams - voice and piano. They are considered one of the
best female vocal quartets, both for their lively,
intense and touching "physical" presence, both for their
traditional "a cappella" repertoire.
Palata Singers
Originally from Congo, the Palata musical group started
as a fusion of members from various Brazzaville choirs
and has been performing all over the world since 1977.
"Black or white, we all have the same red blood", this is the
Palata Singers' message. The repertoire is inspired by Gospel,
negro Spirituals, Blues and African songs.
All concerts will start at 9.00 p.m. Considering the limited
number of seats, participants are invited to book
their tickets in advance. Prices: from 15.000 to 25.000 lire.
